Dear Meghal,
Security, books, and journals are the responsibilities of a Generalist in HR, falling under Administration. The billing and contract aspects are also part of HR.
Hope this clarifies things.
Thanks,
Amit

Hi,
Thank you for the information you have provided. I just have a clarification: does administration-related details, such as security and stationery expenses, also fall under the HR budget?

Hi Preethi,
If the Administration is a part of HR in an organization, then it will definitely come under HR. If it is separated, then the admin budget can be different. In manufacturing companies, the admin is mostly a part of HR.
Hope this is clear.
Thanks,
Amit
