Asst. Manager of HR

Hi Raj,
Just to share my opinion.... In Hospitality Industry, no HR can do all kind of activities. It is better if you think recruitment as another division. One can concentrate on recruitment and one for rest activities. JD provided by Ravish is sufficient. Broadly there are these following activities:
1. Recruitment,
2. Legal Compliances,
3. Employee Engagement, and
4. Payrolls.
Best Regards!

Mr. Ravish with reference to your JD i have created this one..Actually I handle all the HR department of this hotel and there is no Manager whom i report to. but since i have less experience they have given me the designation of HR Executive.

JD -

 To Manage End to End HR Generalist Activities viz. Recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement Activities, Statutory Compliance.

 To coordinate with the entire HOD and understand their manpower requirements and fill the vacancies at the earliest.

Raj if there is No HOD in your department that means you are directly reporting to GM and your JD is fair that depends upon manpower strenght in your property and as per the requirement of your General Manager. Depending upon size and requirements.

Dear Mr. Ravish
Yes there is no any senior person in my HR department whom i reports to. I directly reports to the company's directors, vp, GM and a Corporate Head HR. I hv been handling full HR department of this property by myself. the employee strength of this Hotel is 150 only...
