Hello Everybody,

I have recently posted as issue in cite hr regarding offer letter and pay slips and all. Now I am facing a serious issue from the company, so I would like to get some suggestions from you people.

Recently one of my colleague came from UK. When he was in UK unfortunately he lost his system from the company( in india) . He lost all the data. So when he came back my manager accused him and fired him from the company and he even accused all the employees without having any proofs.

And in another incident my senior colleague who worked for him since the inception of the company got a good offer from a top mnc company. When my senior colleague spoke about this with my manager, he(my manger) said you cheated me and spoke bad about his caste and even he spoke bad about all others also. He once said we the employees who are working for him are like slaves.

Later on he threatened us all that who ever wants to quit from the company when a background verification happens he said that I(my manager) will tell them that we have stolen system’s and other company assets. And he even threatened that if you leave against my will he will put a case on you and send your profile to nascom so that you cannot work anywhere.

Actually till today we did not get form16,Id card and other things which proofs that I am employee of this organization. When ever a new project is going to come he never gave any document regarding the project and he will tell the requirement via skype.

In an organisation if two employees are close and help each other while working is that a crime. He always calls me and speak very badly with me. I don’t know what to do now. I want to quit from this company as soon as possible because he is threatening us and always fighting with us and my manager is the whole and soul of this company , we don’t have people like HR and all.

I don’t want to loose my self respect just because he paying and need to work for him for whatever he says. It is really a disturbing career in my life.

Please give me some suggestions regarding this issue.

Dear Pavan,
Leave the company, id its actually so bad. If what all you have said is true, then you may not get any help from your company post you leave the company.
But one thing i am not able to understand is, you all are in IT. Why are you all taking it laying down? Why are you not recording his dirty politics on Mobiles or recording his skype talks or auto record the mobile conversations?
Do this hand it over to the courts and settle the matter. Use this to damage his reputation as a company with Nascom and change your career.
What is that is stopping you to do all these.

Dear Ashutosh,
Thank you for replying. Today after so many days my manager spoke to each and every employee one on one. What he said is if you want to leave the company you should serve minimum 2 months notice period. What should i do now, should i resign right now and serve for 2 months or what else can i do i am not able to understand. And moreover some people have revealed our company confidential details to customer and now my manager is telling that he will file a case against all of us to nascom and to whom ever it may concern. One thing in my company no software or os is genuine. If at all my manager files a case, will nascom check his company profile , will they check his softwares are genuine or not or simply they will speak to us regarding the issue.

Dear Pavan,
You will have to decide for yourself. Resign and serve the notice period along with all the letters(doubt you may get) and then search for a job or leave right away and search for a job.
If your management really wanted to complain, then even after you resign what stops them from complaining, so you cannot actually believe in them. Also think will NASCOM, just blindly believe in a complaint and ban everyone from a particular organisation.... i don't think so...
Take a decision and then stick with it.

Please start creating evidences and witnesses. If you people can leave as a group and file a case against the individual and organisation, then they will realise that they are facing a big issue.This is precisely for the reason, in good old days, trade unionism flourished ! Because of a few bad apples the image of the company (if at all anything was there !) will get tarnished. So long as there is proof and evidence for all the misdeeds of those Managers, no court will allow such guys to go scot-free.
