Is it right to provide official E-mail Id to contract men along with the regular staff? What are impacts we would face legally if any contract employee threat the company?

Hi This may become a problem under contract law. If you provide generic email ids, then that should be ok. Please take legal guidance to understand the implications before doing this. Regards

What I have usually seen are companies adding a suffix to the employee user ID to differentiate contractors. This could be something like below:

Mohit Suri - Employee -
Mohit Suri - Contractor -

You may think along those lines.

I would also add that you would need to develop specific access privileges and email usage guidelines for contractors; these are usually not the same as those for regular employees.
