We have an executive who is having a designation of Collection Officer.
This gentlemen collects the cheques and invoices from our clients. We wanted to change his designation by avoiding the word "collection".
We opted for a designation named Officer - Credit Control .
Can anybody suggest any designation other than we opted.

You may opt for: Recovery Officer... Officer: Financial Recovery Officer: FINANCIAL SERVICES
Dear Raj,
Would you consider naming the designation as Client Relationship Office/Manager ?
It would look good on the visiting card and would redefine his role in a positive way. Inspire him to look beyond collecting cheques and understanding the issues at client's end that can be resolved by your firm.
Infact a designation such as CRM will give him future opportunities to grow beyond collecting cheques.
I wait to hear from our experts on this.
Wish you all the best!

Hi, Greetings! Collections is not a dirty word to ignore. How about Executive-Collections?!Let the designation defines the role as well. Regards, Mathi
I second (Cite Contribution), let the designation of an employee be an inspiring tool to look beyond his/her capabilities. HR is to motivate employees
