However, in addition to this, I get a variable amount of service charge (approximately 10,000) per month. Since I am not very knowledgeable about the best way my salary slip can be made, I would much appreciate it if someone could help. My employer/owner is very flexible in modifying the structure of my salary slip to my benefit, but it must stand true.

Hi Rohit, I don't think this is a good breakup. You should probably consider keeping the basic pay at about 50% of the total gross. Reduce Conveyance to about 800 per month. Any amount above 800 is taxable anyway. Medical allowance should be 15K per year (1250 per month). Increase your HRA to be 60% of the basic. This would help you a lot in reducing income tax if you stay in a rented apartment/house. Let me know if you need more information.
