I am working with a major company in Telecom, "Ericsson". I resigned on 5th May 2014. My manager is asking me to serve a 3-month notice period. I am willing to pay for 2 months and serve 1 month. Also, I don't have a future here; my manager is biased. Now, I have a new job, but they want me to join in 1 month. What should I do? HR of my company is asking for Manager approval.

Notice Period Clause

It is clearly mentioned in my offer letter: "This employment can be terminated by either side, by giving one month's notice during the probation period or three months' notice after confirmation, or basic salary in lieu of the notice period."

Any suggestions are welcome.
