One of our employees objected to his Form-16, as he actually joined our organization on 01/06/2013. However, I prepared the eTDS return (24Q) with his period of employment starting from 01/04/2013 instead of 01/06/2013 in his column. He is now requesting a correct Form No. 16. Could someone please advise me on how to edit this date? Please help me.

I do not understand what the problem is with Form 16. The Form 16 is for the period 1.4.13 to 31.3.14. In Form 16, there is no date mentioned as Joining. Please instruct your concerned staff to refer to their 26AS.
I am unsure which software you are using for 24Q. In the employee master, please ensure that you can modify the Joining date. Additionally, seek assistance from your software helpdesk.

Form-16 period is from April to March. There is no mistake on your part. Date of joining will not be the criteria if you have mentioned his income particulars from june to march.

Yes, even I have not seen anywhere in 24Q or its annexure where the employee's date of joining is required to be filled in. It is always the date of credit, challan date, or period of return. Kindly send us the snapshot so as to advise appropriately.
If it is a requirement of the software, then the same can be edited. Kindly get in touch with your IT/EDP personnel or Admin/Helpdesk of your software.
