Half-Yearly Returns Calculation under the Contract Labour Act

I would like to know the calculation process for submitting the half-yearly returns under the Contract Labour Act:

• Number of days during the half-year on which:
• Number of man-hours of overtime worked:
• Number of mandays worked:
• Amount of wages paid:
• Amount of deductions from wages, if any.

NUMBER OF DAYS DURING THE HALF YEAR ON WHICH:

1)

NUMBER OF MAN HOURS OF OVERTIME WORKED:

a) Total overtime hours done by the workers for the period of 6 months.

NUMBER OF MANDAYS WORKED:

A) Number of man days = Number of working days in six months (i.e., company working days) x Number of workers worked (average workers).

AMOUNT OF WAGES PAID:

A) Total amount paid in 6 months.

AMOUNT OF DEDUCTIONS FROM WAGES IF ANY:

A) Total amount contributed towards PF and ESI in the 6 months.
