Iam an HR Generalist in an Engineering Company and my management has entrusted a job in Desining the salary structure and grade for the company. I've worked on few components. Now, I would like to see samples of the salary components and compare with the one I've created. I woud be pleased, if someone could help me in providing me with a sample of structure the salary and usage of their components.

This was real good one. Please help me in understanding the tax implication of various allowances stated. Whether the allowance given are the maximum amount which would be free from tax implication for employee.
Some Suggestions about your salary structure.
In case of Medical Allowance upto 15000 is exempted from income tax if bills are submitted. Medical Allowance is to be paid as reimbursement. For those covered under ESI they will not be paid Medical Allowance
LTA has to be paid as reimbursement.

I'm looking for data where the company size is 150-200 employees and we are into Engineering Design services and Software Enterprises.
Try to adjust the salary breaks in such a way, that U reduce the Basic Pay and increase Other Allowances like HRA, TA etc., because it gets benefitted by paying less tax.
