Gratuity is a gesture given by the employer to their employee for the service rendered for a continous of 5 years. Here the it is included as a part of Salary in your Salary Bifurcation so indirectly you are investing/saving from your salary for the gesture of the employer, which can be availed after your tenure with the organisation.
