Hi Everyone,
I have finished my UG in B.sc(ISM)information system management last year and have started working in a software concern as an assistant HR.due to lack of opportunity and MBA degrees M not able to move my career ahead so i want to do an MBA in a good distance learning university which would increase my skill levels and insight me into various levels of HR areas.
So,Please let me know if you know any good distance learning universities which offers MBA(HR).
Chennai univ would be more preferable.
Waiting for your kind replies..

Hi Priyanka
As already you have experience in HR it is better to have MBA in HR. Even though if you get MBA in Correspondence/Distance mode many organisations will not prefer those. But very few small & mid organisations will consider that degree. You can do even in Madras university or ICFAI. There are even few of the private institutions provides MBA degree.
Even I am MBA graduate in correspondence from same Madras university and I do getting offers in small & mid organisations. For that you should equip you will the skills to be competitive.

Thank you for replying jeevarathnam.
Yes i do have experience in HR but its only 6 months experience moreover my job responsibilities in HR is quite less.
Is madras University good?is it valuable? I have heard even Anna university is good but m very confused as to which university to apply for?

Try XLRI - Post Graduate Certification in Human Resource Management Not equivalent to MBA, but a 1 Yr certificate program.
Hi Priyanka ,
You can try for Annamali or Madhurai Kamraj or IGNOU .Even you can do a
HR course from SCDL .But Annamali and madhurai or KSOU provides MBA .
Whereas SCDL provides only PG Diploma .
