I have one query and I want to enhance my knowledge. Please help me regarding my query. If a company has its corporate office in Delhi and its address is registered in the PF & ESI department, but the company shifts from Delhi to UP, does it need to change the address for PF & ESI? The company also has another office in Delhi. In this case, should the company issue a new PF & ESI code due to the change in state from Delhi to UP?

Can you assist me with PF & ESI? Is it necessary to update the address with the PF & ESI department when a company shifts its location from one state to another, even if it retains an office in the previous state?

Yes, you need to inform PF and ESI officials about change of address.

As you explained that you have a corporate office in Delhi and now you are shifting to UP from Delhi, there is a little bit of confusion regarding whether you are opening a branch in UP or shifting the whole corporate office to UP. This is important because if you are opening a branch in UP for EPF, you have to comply with the same code as the corporate office. For ESIC, you will need a new sub-code if the employee strength is 10 and above. It would be helpful if you could clarify whether you are planning to shift the entire base or add a new branch.
