Starting HR Activities in a Manufacturing Company
I have joined a manufacturing company (Steel and Fabrication Industry) recently. I have to start total HR activities in this company, as currently, nothing is in place.
First, I have to implement an ID card system for all workers and a payroll system for the HR department. Can anyone suggest how to proceed further?
The company is located in Bangalore. Your valuable feedback is required ASAP.

Clarification on Subject Line and HR Setup
First, I want to correct you regarding your subject line. You have used "Company ID," which is different from your query, where you have asked about Employee ID Cards and the setup of a new HR department. You must use an appropriate subject line, as an incorrect one can lead to problems such as delays in responses.
Second, you have not shared your experience with us, which is important for us to address your query accordingly. If you are new and lack experience, you may need assistance from your seniors in the company or other professional contacts to "Set up a New HR Department." This task requires good experience and knowledge of the process.
ID Card System and Procedure
To implement an ID Card System, which falls under HR Policies and Systems to maintain company culture or within the Employee Handbook, you first need to set some terms and draft a format containing the following details of an employee, along with the company name and logo.
Front Side of the ID Card
• Your company logo/design.
• Name
• Designation
• Department
• Division
• Address of the corporate office.
• Date of Issue of ID Card.
• Signature of Authorized Signatory.
Back Side of the ID Card
• Instructions
• Emergency Contact Details of the employee
• Blood Group
• Address of the branch/office where the employee is based.
