In our organization, we are planning to start awards like Employee of the Month or every quarter. Can anyone please tell me on what parameters I should judge? What is the process, or is there any format? How should I start? Will it be a kind of appraisal process? Please help.

How nice it would be if everyone recognized outstanding performance. There are certain parameters, simple yet effective, to consider.
- Discuss nomination criteria and suggest appropriate awards. Ensure that everyone is allowed to weigh in on these topics to identify potential problems that need to be addressed before the Employee of the Month program launches.
- Entice each employee with the souvenirs and rewards entitled to the "Employee of the Month."
- Announce the event by establishing the best eligibility criteria. Work closely on the names and submissions using methods that attract participants, such as voting from HODs, Managers, colleagues, etc. Also, use the ballot box system to benefit from choosing the excellent employee while encouraging others to realize that they could step up if they also provide quality work.
- Continue to demonstrate that the Employee of the Month/Quarter/Year program is beneficial for work benefits and valued employees.
