Hello friends and elders, this is Santosh from Hyderabad. I recently faced a question in my interview regarding the amount of pension we receive after retiring from any service, i.e., after contributing for 10+ years and reaching the age of 58.

The answer depends on what kind of organization you are working with. For example, some organizations follow the New Pension Scheme, some follow CPF where there is no pension, just a lump sum amount on superannuation, and GPF where there is a pension. If it's a bank, pension calculation is different.

So please clarify what you really want to know. Apart from that, search on the site itself; there are various discussions on the same issue that have already taken place.
