Dear All,
Today is the engineers Day.
Hats off to those who have contributed to the organisational, and National Development.
The theme for the 45th Engineers Day in the year 2012 is: "Appropriate Climate-Responsive Technologies For Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development”
Recently I have initiated some threads on Global warming and climate change.
The EHS personnel has a lot to contribute in this area.
We all have to go beyond the boundaries and work for reduction in Green House Gases in our area of influence.
Best of luck
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Sir,
Thanks!!!
Happy Engineers Day to all!!!
Engineering is the art of organizing and directing men and controlling the forces and materials of nature for the benefit of the human race. September 15 is celebrated every year in India as Engineers Day to commemorate the birthday of the legendary engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraya (1861-1962). Internationally recognized for his genius in harnessing water resources, he was responsible for the successful design and construction of several river dams, bridges, and the implementation of irrigation and drinking water schemes all over India, especially the design and construction of the K.R. Sagar dam and its adjoining Brindavan Gardens.
