I have a few questions on PF withdrawal claims, and I would appreciate it if you could provide some answers.
Background:
It's been about three years since my past company's PF withdrawal claim was initiated, which I applied for through the employer. I am currently working in another city, and my bank salary account has changed. When applying for my past company's PF withdrawal claim, I mistakenly provided my current bank salary account number in the withdrawal form, which may have resulted in rejection. I received a letter from the PF office requesting some proofs, which I promptly provided. However, since then, there has been no response from the PF office. I followed up twice via email, but I have not received any response. When attempting to call the PF office, no one answered the phone. Checking my application status now shows the following:
- No record found
- Data available for the last six months
- VISHAKAPATNAM data available from 21-01-2012. Last updated
I hope you can guide me on the next steps to resolve this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

You did not receive any claim from the office. It means your form has been rejected, so you have to fill out a fresh form and provide all details carefully to your employer. Alternatively, you can write a letter to your RPFC office regarding the issue. You should receive a response soon from the RPFC.

I guess Satishkamboj is correct. Try submitting a new claim form through your previous employer, or you can continue the same account with the present employment. Use your existing PF account number for the current contribution. Ask your previous employer that you would like to use the same account further, so I request you to do the needful. I believe we have a separate form for that where we can transfer the same PF account number and total account balance to the new company where we are moving (try this option if you didn't get any solution for this). My recommendation is to transfer the account to the new company.
