Prepare open-ended questions (usually question starts with who, what, where, when, why, or how) and interview a HR manager (for questions 2a-2c) and 3-5 employees (question 2d) to describe the following:

a. Structure

The establishment the HRD department. You ask questions such as the year it was established, the name of the HRD department, the number of staff in the department etc.

b. CBT plans and policies.

You may ask whether or not the organization has a clear plan and policy for CBT programme. If no CBT plans and policy, ask why and how the policy was formulated, does the organisation comply with the HRD policy in their CBT practices, what is the nature of the CBT policy and etc?

c. CBT Strategy

Identify the connection between online learning and business need (needs assessment), ask about employees accessibility to technology and technology support, CBT methods/design and activities for staff and training

budget for CBT, etc.

d. CBT evaluation (Interview 3-5 trainees/employees) Use any programme evaluation model to guide you in evaluating the effectiveness of CBT programme conducted in the organization.

PART3

Based on your communication with the manager and employees, what can you recommend to the organisation to improve employee and organizational performance through effective CBT practices.
