I would like to inquire about the best HR practices for interacting with sales teams in different locations. This includes employee engagement, performance management, sales improvement strategies, and motivational factors for the sales team.

The best HR practice is to accompany salespersons on their sales calls. Spend one day per fortnight or month along with a salesperson. Each time, you should go with a different salesperson. Record your observations. These records will be helpful in your future recruitment as well.
Challenge of Establishing a Standard Sales Process
The number one challenge for the sales department is to have a well-defined sales process. Every single salesperson should follow the same process regardless of location. This is quite challenging, but once you establish it, you will reap benefits forever. Nothing motivates salespersons more than a standard sales process.
Ok...

Dear Abhishek, I have addressed your query in my initial post. Could you please provide details about your product or service? How many salespersons do you have, and what is their education level? What market research have you conducted? What type of training have you provided to your sales team? How do salespersons share their sales call experiences with each other?
Developing a Standardized Sales Process
I suggest discussing with the sales head to develop a standardized sales process, which should be your top priority. Ensure that the sales head does not perceive your involvement as intrusive but rather as a necessary step for organizational development. Training for the sales team can be considered later.
P.S.: My name is "Dinesh Divekar," not "Diwakar."
Thanks, Diwakar. I would like to know what activities I can undertake with the sales team and how I can engage with them.
