Attrition Calculator Update
Folks, 6 years ago, I shared a ready calculator as an Excel file to check attrition percentage and maintain it as a register. I am really happy to have more than 2000 downloads and many more members who have accessed and commented on this thread. I see that even now some members have saved this file and are continuing to share it with others for knowledge sharing.
So, I have updated the file and re-posted it for all your ready reference. If any updates need to be made, please share so that I can incorporate them. In this Excel file, which is a ready calculator and an annual register of attrition, you can determine the attrition for a particular month and different quarters.
Instructions for Use
1st Sheet - Enter the data of your company/organization/firm.
2nd Sheet - Find the attrition percentage calculated based on the data provided in sheet 1.

Attrition Formula
Attrition during the period / Avg Headcount X 100
Average Headcount Formula
(Opening balance of the period + closing balance of the period) / 2
Please note that the percentage for the quarter is based on the average factor only.
