The book on personality test seems to be good. Nice way to specd your time with ur colleagues. All goes well in office if it goes well at home
Can any one help me out with psychometric tests that can be conducted for interviewing candidates which can help in identifying (mis)matches.

This is a good book for the usage but not culture fair and there are tests developed for the indian scenario for dealing with our own candidates and selecting the best is available with our own psychologists in india like ACHIEVEMENT PERSONALITY RUDIMENTS MAPPING(APMR), PERSONALITY PROFILING(PP), ANGER CHECKLIST (AG) ETC are quite a few in the area of personality, and several such areas of interest like turbulent quotient, passion quotient, interpersonal efficiency, counseling aptitude for HR professionals are part of our own professional psychologists contributions to the field of psychometry.

I'm a psychologist and would like to know is there any test which can be dowloaded from net for assessing children of 9th and 10th and guide them in choosing their career.
I know some tests can be used but they all needs to be purchased.

I have a suggestion, if you are serious about getting guidance about kids career try a test which will speak based on the latent talent of the kid.
As mindtuners has mentioned I agree that a little caution should be applied while analyzing the results.Awareness is one factor and Application will need one more addition and that angle is "Interpretation".
We also deal with Assessment tools and so I gave the suggestion, being fully aware of the implications.
