I am a graduate with three years of experience in HR recruitment and six months of experience in core HR. Now, I want to pursue a postgraduate degree in Human Resources. Can anyone help me with what the possibilities are to do the same? Can I expect any growth without a postgraduate degree in Human Resources? Kindly share your valuable suggestions with me.

Hi Jacs, well, the first thing is, why do you want to go for a PG course in HR? You need to recognize your interest first. Secondly, it is good that you want to pursue HR if you have an interest in this field. I would like to say that it is a really interesting field. If you are really looking at this for your career, I would also suggest that you must go for SAP HR courses as that is the latest demand in the HR world and will certainly give you more options to establish yourself in HR. But before this, you have to start your studies, work hard, keep yourself updated with every possible development in the HR world, and the very first thing you need to do is express your interest in HR.

Spend as much time as you can here, read and understand the discussions, gain knowledge about the functions of HR. Since you have decided to go for a PG diploma, I won't ask you to join any other institute because while doing this PG course, you can do a lot to achieve your goals.

Also, I would like you to please visit the weblinks below which will help give you an abstract of the functions of HR:

Hi Anil, thank you very much for your valuable suggestion. I want to build my career in the HR field, but I don't have an MBA. I am from a B.Sc. (Electronics & Computer) background, but I have experience in recruitment for more than three years. Now, I want to learn and move to an HR Generalist role. That's why I want to pursue a PG (MBA). You suggested SAP HR, and I thank you very much for that. However, my query is, without an MBA, can I get any opportunity in an HR Generalist role with an SAP HR course? Kindly suggest me.

Regards,
Jacs.
