There is no specific rule for the salary break-up. However, as per the Labour Law, the "Basic + DA" should not be below the "Minimum Wages Rate" as per state government specifications. For higher-salary employees, the "Basic" salary should be at least 40%, and the remaining 60% can be allocated to different salary components.
