How should one determine the salary breakdown for employees, managers, etc.? Are there any laws, regulations, company policies, or government norms that dictate the salary distribution? Could someone please assist me by providing example templates or files?

There is no specific rule for the salary break-up. However, as per the Labour Law, the "Basic + DA" should not be below the "Minimum Wages Rate" as per state government specifications. For higher-salary employees, the "Basic" salary should be at least 40%, and the remaining 60% can be allocated to different salary components.
