Hi all LinkedInians,

This query I am putting forth is for those HR professionals who are not using any kind of software but are maintaining the reports manually.

Topic - Leave and Attendance Management

After maintaining the attendance sheet and leave details, let me give you a gist of the issues I am facing:

• To follow the leave details and prepare a final report on a monthly basis, it's difficult to count under CL, PL.

• Keeping the leave forms updated is difficult as I don't want to waste more paper. I have prepared a quarterly leave sheet, but it's not easy to update.

• When the matter of comp-off comes for working on Sundays and they take leave, the update never comes on time, indicating that this particular day's leave was a comp-off.

What I am looking for

• I want to maintain a spreadsheet for all the compiled entries of leave - PL, CL, SL, attendance, comp-off, extra leave with pay (in case of SL).

• Every time, it's very difficult to cross-check with the same submission papers.

• I also want to avoid using leave forms (hard copy or soft copy), so apart from software, is there any other way to do it?

I would appreciate it if you all could suggest details and how to manage step-wise. Please do revert...

Note: I have checked many of the Excel sheets and formats of leave, but I have not found the kind of compilation I need.

Shalini

Hi Shaik Sir, as you mentioned, it is actually complicated to compile everything in one sheet; that is why I have this query in this forum. Otherwise, I am using separate Excel sheets and paperwork for this.
