Hi, I am working for an IT company as a front desk and admin. We have different departments, and each department has its own team manager. As admin, we have warned the team many times about behavior, dress code, and cleanliness in the surroundings. However, the problem now is that we can't speak directly to the team; we have to communicate through the team manager, and the issue is that some team managers seem indifferent. Could you please assist me in drafting an email to the team managers, with my boss and other management cc'd, addressing this situation?

Hi Cynthia, regarding behavior, dress code, etc., if you have an HR department, you can inform them. They will take the necessary steps. It will be more effective if your manager sends the email to other team managers and CCs your boss. Your efforts to regulate these issues will also be appreciated by your superiors.

Thank you, Rekha, the problem is that we don't have an HR Department; our GM is taking care of all these matters. I had sent an email to him, but there was no action taken as he sits in another office. So, he asked our other senior person to speak to the team manager, but he did not speak. The big problem is that the team manager and our GM can't tolerate each other. I am suffering because if something goes wrong, I have to answer for it. I am really looking for a change.

Role of HR in Disciplinary Practices
Usually, HR has the power to control every department regarding disciplinary practice codes. If there is a manager/head in every department, HR has to hand over these codes to them for implementation and follow-up. The managers/heads are liable for implementation and follow-ups. If there are any deviations, they should be responsible for controlling them.
Thanks & Regards,
