Dear All,
I have some doubts regarding the Gratuity Act of 1972.
1) Is gratuity included in CTC or not?
2) The current gratuity ceiling amount is 3.5 or 10 Lacs?
3) The gratuity formula is (monthly wages * 15 days * number of years of service / 26). Can anybody give an explanation regarding the 15 days in the calculation of gratuity?
4) If the ceiling amount exceeds in the payment of gratuity, what is to be done in that case?
5) Are brother/sister/grandparents considered in nominees?
