An employee drawing salary (Basic+DA) up to Rs.6500/- he has to be mandatorily enrolled member. If an employee drawing salry (Basic+DA) exceeds Rs. 6500/- with the consent of employer he can join the PF.If he has was not alrady a meber in the he can fill up form-11 for exemption. If he was a member under PF with the previous employment , and has not withdrwan the full and final withdrwal from the EPFO , he can continue to be member irrespect of his salary. The employer will only contribute his share upto the ceiling limit of Rs. 6500/- only.
For New employees if salary is more than 6500 then no need to deduct the epf of a employee.
But if a employee covered in epf and his salary is now more then 6500 then the pf will deduct only on 6500. But very soon the epf LIMIT will be 10000 or may be 15000

As per PF Act if the basic + DA is 6500 or less 6500. its mandatory to deduct the pf from his salary and if he is continue in employement whether his basic salary cross 6500.Its depend on employer he may be restrict the pf deduction on maximum limit (Restrict amount Rs. 780).
Dear Mr.Vinay,

PF is a mandatory statutory compliance that need to be complied with for all employees, whether they opt in or opt out. If PF authorities inspect the premises and verify PF documents, they question the employer not the employee. Employer will be held liable for not including all employees under PF Scheme. It is for their benefit only, such schemes are introduced. I understand that Form-11 is not for employees who are willing to opt out of PF scheme.

The interpretation is different. I have given below Form-11

FORM 11 (Revised)

It is better to counsel the employees who wish to opt out of PF scheme, that paying PF is good for their financial well-being.

With regards,

Madhusudan

Its Mandatory to deduct PF if Basic is 6500, If Employee don’t want to deduct his PF he can write letter in that case
