Dear All,
From last 3 years we are not opting the policy of PF deduction as we were in the assumption if we fill form 11 from employee we need not to deduct PF from the salary.
Just want to know should we continue with such system or should we start deducting PF.As recently one of our seniours consultant adviced us for contributing the amount in PF otherwise we will be in trouble.
can any one guide us on this and list out some companies those who were
not deducting PF initially and started contibuting later.
Bit confused should we run with old policy and should we start with PF deduction.

PF deduction and contribution is a statutory obligation of every organization employing 20 more more persons. There is no way to escape. Not meeting the statutory obligation will certainly invite legal penalties as prescribed by the act.
You must register your organization with PF and start deducting and contributing to the PF.
This topic has already been discussed a number of times on CITEHR, still you are confused ?
regards,
Kamal
