Dear CS Mukesh,
Thank you for posting such a nice PowerPoint presentation about the importance of water. We all know how important water is for us. Without water, the existence of life is not possible. Everything, from A to Z, depends on water either directly or indirectly. It is also important to note that while 2/3rd of our Earth is covered by water, only about 3% of Earth's water is drinkable. Of that 3%, 99% is locked in glaciers, and the rest is saline water. This highlights the limited availability of usable water for us. Despite this, we often waste water unnecessarily. Many aquatic systems are becoming polluted due to the disposal of unwanted products into the water. Water bodies are contaminated by sewage systems, industrial waste, dead bodies, excreta, and more. If we continue to pollute water at the current rate, by 2070, we may face a severe scarcity of usable water. It is crucial for us, as conscious and intelligent beings, to use our intelligence to conserve water and avoid wastage. By being mindful of our water usage, we can ensure that fresh water is available for future generations. Let's start today to save water. Here are some important points to consider:
1. When water is not in use, please close the tap.
2. Practice rainwater harvesting by digging a broad hole during the rainy season to collect rainwater.
3. Avoid disposing of sewage and religious scrap materials in water.
4. Never dispose of dead bodies in water.
Thanks & Best Regards,
