Hello
I want to know if Employee Police Verfication is compulsory or not for companies ?
Recently we saw some police officers in the company and they said that Police Verification is compulsory and FORM is same as servant verification?
IF it is compulsory, then is there anyone who can provide me correct form and informations?
Thank you

Dear Friends
Normally the details of Staff of any company can be retrieved by police. Because the company will seek all the details and their contact details, PAN Card, Bank Account, Passport etc. In case of workers especially the Contractor workmen details may not be correct. That's the reason Police is insisting for filling up Police Verification Forms for all the workers and attach the Address Proof Photo ID to support the address given by the worker. In case if the proof is not available, the concerned contractor/subcontractor has to give a declaration stating that the worker is the resident of Address of workmen working under me and I know him since ____ years. Further the contractor will take complete responsibility for all the deed in the area of jurisdiction.
This is made compulsory under Sec-144 of CRPC and its violation amounts to registration of cognizable offence under Sec 188 of IPC.

Dear Neetu
Do not approach any agency to mediators for doing police verification procedures. The Forms are available in the police station nearer to you. You approach the police station in which your area is covered and just fill the same with the relevant details, paste a photograph and attach the address proof. Then simply go and submit the same to the police station. Keep one copy duly acknowledged by the writer in the Police Station in your records.
Follow the same procedures whenever you employ new persons and send a letter for removal of old person who left your organisation. Keep the record for submission of the same.
