Could someone please help me in understanding the best HR practices in Indian industries? Any links, articles, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Srividya,
I am Elanco, Dy GENERAL MANAGER (HR) HAVING 14 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD. NICE TO MEET YOU.
THERE ARE MANY GOOD PRACTICES ONE CAN THINK OF AS A HR PROFESSIONAL SUITING TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ORGANIZATION. FOR INSTANCE, IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU WANT TO KNOW YOUR EMPLOYEES' PERCEPTIONS VS REALITIES ON VARIOUS ASPECTS LIKE MISSION, VISION, TOP MANAGEMENT, SUPERVISION, COMMUNICATION, RELATIONSHIPS, WORK ENVIRONMENT, PERFORMANCE, RECOGNITION, JOB SATISFACTION, PAY/BENEFITS, QUALITY, ETC., YOU MAY CONDUCT AN EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION STUDY, PREFERABLY BY AN EXTERNAL AGENCY.
ANOTHER VITAL SYSTEM IS THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, WHICH IS A SYSTEM TO MEASURE PERFORMANCE ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS. SUGGESTION SCHEMES, EXCELLENCE AWARDS, ARE SOME OF THE GOOD PRACTICES.
I DON'T WANT TO PROVIDE EVERYTHING IN ONE SHOT. KEEP SHARING EXPERIENCES AND INFORMATION. MY EMAIL IS appanelanco@yahoo.com.
WITH REGARDS AND ALL THE BEST,
Elanco.

Dear Srividya,
The best HR practices in Indian industries are followed in companies like Infosys and Wipro, to name a few. In fact, Infosys has won several awards for being the best employer. It is because they follow the best practices that employee turnover is negligible or almost nil. Try to go through their website for starters. Later on, you can make a list or compile a list of good companies, and after going through their websites, you can surely get into the information about the HR practices they follow. Presently, I do not have any links to guide you, and this is just a suggestion from my end. Something should definitely work out for you. There are many other conglomerates in India like GE, Intel, and the Tata group who are also some of the stalwarts in having the best HR practices in-house.
All the very best!!!
