Dear All,

This is Dipti, working for a non-banking financial organization as an Executive HR. I have a query related to the withdrawal process for shop & commercial registration.

Can anyone help me know if there is a specific process for withdrawing a shop & commercial registration? A branch of my organization is already registered under the Shop & Commercial Act, but now the branch is closed, and we want to close the registration. If there is a specific form for this process, please provide me with the details.

Regards,
Dipti

Procedure for Withdrawal from Shop and Commercial Registration

To withdraw from shop and commercial registration, the employer must notify the inspector in writing within 10 days of closing the establishment about the closure. Upon receiving the information, the inspector will verify its correctness. If the inspector is satisfied with the correctness, the establishment will be removed from the register of establishments, and the registration certificate will be canceled.
