Hi All
What does reverse scoring questions on a likert scale intail? How do you do it? I have a likert scale with 50 questions and need to identify the ones that must be reverse scored. How do I do that?

When the answer to a statement should be in the reverse order. For example instead of agreeing with the statement one disagrees with the statement. For example, if you have two statements "I like bosses who are considerate" and "I do not like to work under a woman", then you have to change the points given for the second. Otherwise if you average the two scores, you will not get a valid average score (if you had the same Likert statements).
