Dear members, I want to know how to maintain the leave register in the factory. How do we enter holidays in it? What salary should we put in the columns? Which leave do we calculate based on that salary? How do we carry forward leaves in it? Please clarify all these questions related to leaves. I WILL BE THANKFUL TO ALL MEMBERS.

You have to purchase a separate leave muster for that. Before that, you need to understand the company's policy regarding paid leave and casual leave.

Understanding Leave Policies

Paid leave means the employee can enjoy wages on the day they are absent, but it is subject to the limit of paid leave. Casual leave, on the other hand, means the employee is unable to enjoy wages. Only paid leave can be carried forward but is also subject to conditions. For example, if the company has a policy to lapse paid leave when it exceeds the limits of 45 or 50 days, then carry forward is restricted to 45 or 50 days; otherwise, it all lapses.

You can calculate the salary on paid leave but not on casual leave.
