Hi there,

My friend needs to leave his present job as he is currently in the probation period. According to the agreement, it is stated that "during the period of such probation, your employment may be terminated without notice and without assigning any reasons." Can you please advise on what the notice period would be in this case?

I think, your friends also have HR rules from that company for leaving the company within the Probation period.

Yes, as you mentioned, either employers or employees can leave the organization without any notice. But ask your friend to read the offer letter to see if anything is mentioned about a notice period during the probationary period.
