Hi Pooja,
If you have MS-Project in your system it is much much easier to track the daily updates on the tasks assigned. that tool is specially meant for such purposes only it is the project planning & management tool. in case if you don't have & you don't know how to use the tool. in that case in excel itself you can do it but for that you should have a very small knowledge of logical skills. have a look at the attached document which have just four columns. enter the relevant data in the columns & finally link the datas of the sheet to a chart.then every day just keep on updating the % complete column & referesh the chart & the rest is easy either you can mail the image of the chart or take a print of it.
