Dear Friends,
Please find attached the Amendment Act, 45 of 2009, whereby the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923, is ammended and renamed as Employee Compensation Act, 1923.
It is made applicable to all employees working in an Industry / Establishment.

Good to see finally The Law-makers picked-up this Act also for amendment. They should have considered it long back coz still the ESI has limited coverage geograhically.
