Dear All,

There is a telecommunication company (XYZ) in Madhya Pradesh, and the company has already obtained a contract labor principal employer license through the Central Authority.

Central license is required because all telecommunication companies come under central rules and acts for contract labor. For example, BSNL is a telecommunication company that falls under central rules and acts for contract labor licenses.

Can you please help me determine which minimum wage rates should be followed by this company, whether it's state or central regulations?

Please assist me with this matter.

Thanks & Regards,
Naved Shaikh

Central Minimum Wages Applicability

Central minimum wages will be applicable in the central area. Additionally, the central area is categorized into three zones: Area A, Area B, and Area C. The wages will be applicable based on the location under which zone they fall. Please refer to the Madhya Pradesh Minimum Wages notification for more information.
