Dear Senior,
I just want to clarify some points with you. I join my company in Jan.06. In my appointment letter i am eligable for 2 bonus one is Loyalty & one is Performance. I get my loyalty bonus in Jan.07 but due to some reason company postponed performance bonus in march.07. now i am leaving this company on 20th March 07. I give 19 days notice and 12 days payment to company. But company told me that I am not eligable for Performance Bonus. because they add one point in Employee manuel that if employee present in day of payout of bonus then he is eligable for that.
What you think is it right.
waiting for your reply.

Hi,
The company has mentioned, the eligibility of performance bonus in the Employee Manual.
It is to be assumed that, the company has informed all the necessary information to its employees, once it issues the Employee Manual.
I feel, that as an employee you should be able to abide by the rules of company.
Thank you

Dear Amit,
I think you are eligible for the performance bonus for two reasons.
1) You are supposed to get it by Jan,07 itself
2) Its clearly mentioned in your company mannual that if the employee is present on the day of the pay off then he'll get his bonus.
Its better to clarify these points with your HR.
If your company says "No" then what's the reason they give you??? May be they have some other specifications? Please clarify the same with your company.
All the Best!
