Fauzia:

The usual approach is to list the functional responsibilities, such as: Executive (or Office of the President), Sales, Marketing, Legal (General Counsel), IT (Systems Control), Finance (Accounting), to include Audit, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources (Human Relations, or Human Services) which includes Employment, HRIS, Equal Opportunity, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Community Relations, and/or Labor Relations (if your facility is unionized).

If you are employed by a manufacturer, you need to list the functional areas, such as QC (Quality Control), Material Control, etc.

I don't know whether this is any help to you...

These designations apply to each of the 25 departments in our organization, which is involved in manufacturing textile garments.

We are also in the process of revamping the designations in our company. Our company is a manufacturing company. Our present designations are Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer - Head for three units, GM - Operation, GM - Finance, etc.

Please suggest new designations for the above.
