Dear Friends,
I'am a soft skill Training faculty in a reputed healthcare having a staff strength of 1470staffs. I used to give soft skill trainings to staffs on various topics like motivation,stress management,team building,emotional intelligence,time management,communication and etiquette for employees.
Now my problem is I'have to evaluate the effectiveness of my training programme? How do I evaluate these effectiveness?
Do I want to conduct any surveys? Because We have 46 shifts in our workplace.HOw do I measure?
seniors please give some suggestions

Dear Sekar K,
You should have thought of measuring effectiveness of training before training and not after.
Anyway, now create questionnaire based on the objectives of the training programmes. Send the questionnaire to the managers of the participants. Find out what they say.
If you had sent this questionnaire before the training and again after the training, you could have measured the change in their behaviour.

Thank u Divakar.Pre evaluation and post evaluation and feedback about the session and all I have collected for all these session but my management what to know about the overall outcome of these training programme from Dec'2008 -to- now Oct'2009.

Thanks for your reply once again Divekar.
I've received the necessary datails to evaluate my staff training effectiveness.
See Basically the moto of the training programme is to improve the work quality without defects because myne is a healthcare industry.
We fix up the sample persons on each and every category like 30-35persons per batch for a period of 60days we conducted pre evaluation,post evaluation tests ,feed backs,superiors opinions,work performance oservations and all.
Finally we come to know trhat the communication and the behavioural etiquette is much improved when compare to the pre assessment
We feel happy to the study.
