This is a transport industry where the labours are drivers, garagge workers, and they remain absent quite often and i need to prepare a questionnaire to these workers in a simple manner to find out the reasons for their absenteeism i the company and questionnaire should be nearly about atleast 20 questions. So plz help me in what way i can arrange questions and how should be the start of it.

Hi Kavitha, Its good that u are doin a project for labor absenteeism. First u study the trend of taking leav or remaining absent of each employee. N reasons they tel for remaining absent. Based on that u can get some idea. One more thing is these drivers or garage workers can go for work for 1 day or 2 days where they can get daily wages of some handsome amount. So u need to frame some questions where u can get more information. Regards Pavithra

Hi Pavitra, Thank you for replying to my question. Actually i have studied the trend, they remain absent by taking leave and most of the reasons are for their personal work than falling sick, to explain it in detail, i can say 75% labours take leav for their personal work,15% of labours take leav as they are not well, 10% is for marriage function or going out of town. I found very rare case for a labor to stay absent when he does not have any leav to apply. My confusion is weather leav should be considerd as absent or apart from leave, who remains absent that should be considered. Regards, Kavita
