Dear Seniors,
i need to do some project work for my final semester of PGDHRM. and learning this my HOD asked me to do a project on our company itself so that if there are certain changes hat need to be incorporated, we can do it this way.
we have many issues that we can cover in our company (media industry)
1. there are various senior managers who have many executive producers under them and they allocate and delegate all the work to them and relax themselves
there are female execs working till 2pm in the night without a break. they leave the shoots at late hours.
this is bad for health and safety and also against law.
2. they harass the subordinates mentally by yelling at them for their mistakes in front of the entire floor, not granting them leaves, and bossing around.
3. some execs take this lying down because due to recession and nature of industry they wont get a new job easily, and they cant muster courage to tell this to seniors since they are also not doing anything. even compalints given o HR manager doesnt work.
4. there are times when employees leave work early when their HOD s arent at work/absent. just because there is no one to question them
5. there are employees that while away their time and keep discussing and commenting on others
6. there is no proper delegation of authority and hence each topic takes hundred rounds of correction/trial and error before it gets finalised
7. Our Hr has certain faulty methods of showing greener pastures to lure the competitors employees and later cheat them in terms of money/position. and they end up being unhappy.
8. there is no proper help given by payroll department at year end for the people who dont understand certain HR policies
i need to give a name to this project and address all these issues so that employees dont take the management lightly and take advantage of lienient attitude of subordinates/superiors.
i need to make a questionnaires also.
please suggest how i can go abt doing this research
