Does anyone have an idea of the requirements for this position and what performance management processes to capture in order to evaluate the performance of a Trainee Manager at a restaurant?

Hi Dr. Mohan,

Thank you for your offer to look into this. This is a case study from my MBA program, and it requires that I develop a performance appraisal for a Management Trainee. The restaurant caters to parties and business events, employing about 35 individuals, including a chef. The trainee manager reports directly to the Owner. Although this is a unionized environment, the Trainee Manager has only been working here for 2 months and is still on probation.

I need assistance in developing a performance appraisal to assess her job competencies. Any guidance or pointers you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
