In our organization, we have identified four key persons in managerial cadre whom we want to groom as future leaders. For this, we have conducted a gap analysis and concluded that to develop their skills and competencies and enable them to take on higher responsibilities in the future, we need to enroll them in various training programs that will address the following competencies:
- Organizational Behavior
- Project Management
- Leadership Development
- Team Building
- Communication and Presentation Skills
- Strategic Thinking
- Proposal and Report Writing
- Participating in Workshops and Conferences
Could you please suggest a methodology to proceed with this? Is it possible to conduct such workshops in-house over a period of, say, 5-7 days, considering that they operate from different locations and may not be able to travel to Delhi frequently?

Good that you would like to initiate the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) in your company. It is a very important and effective HR intervention.
I will prepare a complete Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for the executives. To execute this programme, I will do the following for you:
a) Preparing a schedule of the LDP Programme.
b) This programme will span for a period of two years and periodically we can execute the training modules that you have mentioned in your post.
c) I will supplement the training modules with requisite psychometric tests wherever required.
d) You can appraise the effectiveness of the LDP after every year.
e) The important modules of LDP are "Conflict Handling" and "Decision-Making Skills".
f) I will prepare measures to assess each competency so that after execution of the training, you can assess the change in the behavior of the key persons (participants).
