Hi, I would like to know what are the extra efforts i can make so that i have a good career in HR? i'm a fresher in HR, will joining HR forums or attending seminars add weightage to my resume? Is there any specific certifications i can do to get good jobs?
Also, if you could let me know of recognised HR forums in Bangalore which provide any certification, i would be very grateful.

Hi
There is no specific way to add weightage to your resume by joining forum or obtaining certification. Especially in HR field it is only the experience that counts and you can understand many concepts and related issues by browsing this CiteHR as there are lots of good articles to update yourself. This would definitely help you in enhancing your knowledge on HR activities. I am one of the beneficiaries of this Cite HR. OF course you can take up some MBA course with HR as the main subject as this would add some weightage to your profile after you gain relevant experience.
