Hi Namrata,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Actually we get 20+10 holidays in a financial year. In which 20 working days are paid leaves and 10 days which includes 3 national holidays and festive holidays. We don't have any break-up of leaves such as casual leaves or sick leaves or privileged leaves. So, can you please send me across a comprehensive document on Holiday Policy.

And, also request you to send me a document on Performance Appraisal and Bonus. Can you tell me if a person has joined after June will he/she be eligible for Bonus and How to evaluate employees performance?

Dear Ms. Sonali
Normally in a year a company is bound to give only 9 festival holidays and 4 national holidays. And holiday will be in total 13 in a year.
Usually number of sick leaves would be 5 and casual leaves would be 15.
As per the maternity benefits act, a woman who is carrying will have the benefit of 6 week leave before delivery and 6 week after delivery. Taking into consideration of all the other leaves a woman would get maximum of 90 days of maternity leave with the gross salary (basic+HRA+PF). No incentives and bonuses.
I hope it is clear to you now.
Thanks
