The overtime hours is generally regulated by day, week and then by quarter. It is 10 hours per day, 60 hours per week and 75 hours per quarter. Though section 64 has given the state government power to regulate the hours of work and overtime, subsection 4 provides that it should not exceed the above (10, 60 and 70) in ordinary circumstances. I am unaware of any state government rule which prescribes for 78 hours overtime per MONTH. Please clarify.
