Dear Mr Amal,

SAP in an integrated software, which give output of different dept. on basis of data provided in the software (mainly reporting system). It avoids repeatition of same work by different persons/dept.

I would suggest you to first do any course which is related to core activities of HR (Human Resource Planning, Recruitment, Training, Employee Benefits & Compensation, PF-ESI, Payroll, Taxation, Leave etc.). Though all the fields are very vast in present scenario. In big organization there are different HR persons for different tasks. You can learn basic points of all the above and choose some of them for your specialized area.

SAP is just a software which make things easy where work is being done in a big volume. After SAP course you may be given preferance in SAP working organizations, but prior to that you must have the basic knowledge.

Moreover, now a days there are many HR software available in the market. Many company customized the softwares as per their requirements and prefer to work on them.

Hope this will help you to take right decision.

SAP will become obsolete in another year or so with emergence of new cloud based ERPs like SuccessFactors..ur SAP expertise today will b outdated tomorrow n u will hv to learn new ERP..companies also keep on migrating to newer ERP's after few years..hence its better to get trained on future skills required ti excel in HR role like AI, VBA macros, automation, lean six sigma n Data analytics
